From wind to income

Successful wind power generation requires good fundamental conditions: primarily, good wind position, access to a robust electricity grid and low transportation costs.

In addition, project organisation standards are high. The organisation must delivery quickly, with high quality and cost-efficiency.

In order for an individual wind turbine to meet Arise Windpower’s return requirements – given the current SEK rate of exchange, electricity prices and electricity certificate prices (totalling roughly 70 öre/kWh) – and to be financially interesting, average wind speeds must be on average 6,5 to 7 m/s.

Wind turbines must also be easily accessible; this factor, coupled with efficiency and turbine capacity, determines total production.

Accessibility, productivity and maintenance costs are to a great extent determined by turbine class, rotor diameter and other equipment (in addition to wind position). Wind measurements should be done on-site for nine to twelve months in order to determine turbine placement and optimal design of the wind park.

Effective wind park prospecting and planning are of great importance in terms of building costs, which in turn have a major impact on future returns.

Arise Windpower has an experienced management team and board, and an effective project organisation with leading knowledge of industrial wind power expansion and the capacity for rapid expansion.
